Hot, Hot, Hotter Cowboys by Starla Kaye

I’m looking forward to meeting fellow authors and especially some of the wonderful readers who will be attending the Hot Mojave Knights Conference Oct 18-20. I write about all kinds of heroes and heroines in the romances I pen in various sub-genres. But my overall love is cowboys.

When you stop by my space at the Author Book Signing on Oct 20, you will see just how much I enjoy writing about cowboys. I will be displaying a small quilt with many of my Western book covers. Making what I call “art quilts” is another way for me to use my over-active imagination. And it’s fun…and it gives me time to think up new storylines while I sew the quilts.

The main book I will be promoting at the event is The CEO and the Cowboy, an M/M romance from Decadent Publishing. I am currently working on the sequel and hope to have it done and published as well by then, but life can get in the way.

I’m also excited to announce that my newest story, Acceptance, is being released May 28 as part of The Edge Series from Decadent Publishing. This is another M/M romance and is seriously “hot.”

Oh, and I will have some fun little give away items for anyone stopping by to say “Hi.”

Turning Up The Fire with Marla Monroe

I can’t wait for the middle of October to get here! Hot Mojave Knights is going to be a blast this year! If you want to have some fun and meet your favorite authors as well as find some new ones, this is the place to be for a Hot weekend. There’s going to be lots and lots of fun things to do and loads of cool swag.

I’m planning on helping to spice up some lucky reader’s love life with my basket sure to give them some ways to put a little kinky in their romance! It’s all about spontaneity and attitude. All romance should have a little kinky now and then. It helps keep those home fires burning and will fan that spark hiding in the smoke back into a full fledged forest fire!

Be sure to visit http://www.hotmojaveknights.com/ and see what all there is to love and lust over. October 18-20, 2013 at the Sunset Station Casino and Hotel in Henderson, Nevada is going to be THE place to be. I’ll be talking about my books and how much fun I have writing about ménage, BDSM, Cowboys, and Bikers. Be sure to look me up once you arrive to chat.
One of my books I’ll be talking about is Happy In Their Love, the latest of my Men of The Border Lands series. You can see it here http://www.bookstrand.com/happy-in-their-love

Another book I will be talking about is Making Them Happy, the third book of my Ghost Rider’s series http://www.bookstrand.com/making-them-happy
Of course, but then I will have several more books out to talk about as well. I’ll be talking more about Hot Mojave Knights the closer it looms on my blog http://themarlamonroe.blogspot.com/ Don’t forget to visit my webpage for updates at http://www.marlamonroe.com
Hope to see you all there!

Marla Monroe

Marla Monroe has been writing professionally for about ten years now. Her first book with Siren was published in January of 2011. She loves to write and spends every spare minute either at the keyboard or reading another Siren author. She writes everything from sizzling hot contemporaries to science fiction ménages and cowboys to bad ass bikers.

Marla lives in the southern US and works full time at a busy hospital. When not writing, she loves to travel, spend time with her cats, and read. She’s always eager to try something new and especially enjoys the research for her books. She loves to hear from readers about what they are looking for next.

The Heat of the Knight—er, Night by Cara Michaels

Color me excited, gentle readers! In just over five months I’ll be on a plane, heading toward my second Las Vegas adventure and first conference as a featured author. Hot Mojave Knights is primed to be the most fun an author or reader can have in Sin City without ending up arrested. Though, knowing some of the writers attending, there may be handcuffs (“But… they’re part of my costume.”).

If you haven’t made plans to attend yet, understand this is not the standard cattle drive convention. There won’t be thousands of people milling around in a great crush of bad tempers and body odor. No endless fan lines just to catch a glimpse of someone you’d like to meet. I’ve been to a couple of those, and outside of sore feet, I didn’t have much to talk about, unless I count seeing James Marsters’ head from twenty feet (I do. I admit it. But it’s not much of a story to tell).

Readers, you get the opportunity to engage with authors over the course of the weekend. Polish your meet and greet skills over Friday night’s wine tasting and Chippendales outing. Have dinner with the favorite author you came to see, or the new one you bonded with over Chippendale #5 (could he wear a Speedo, or what?). Costume up and head to the masquerade where authors will attempt to resemble their literary creations (try Googling “224th century space outfits”… no one makes these). And did I mention the Knights to go along with your nights? *Faint*

My mind is all awhirl with plans. I have swag to order, a costume to assemble, a plane ticket to buy, panels and intimate encounters to prepare… And that’s “intimate” as in “a small group of people,” not “show up in your handcuffs and best smile.” ;) I’m looking forward to meeting everyone, and maybe coming home with a story or two I can’t tell to anyone who wasn’t there, *wink wink, nudge nudge*.

Cara Michaels

Get to know me now:

Cara Michaels is a dreamer of legendary proportions (just ask her about the alien pirate spaceship invasion). Her imagination is her playground and nothing is quite so much fun for her as building new characters and new worlds with at least an edge of the fantastic. She's writing whenever the opportunity presents itself and can typically be found tinkering with half a dozen projects. Occasionally all at once.

She calls Florida 'home' when she's not busy swearing about giant bugs and humidity. She has one super-cool fiancé who doesn't (usually) mind the hours spent writing, editing, writing some more, and editing a lot more, one son with aspirations of becoming either a great wizard or an artist, and three cats who enjoy sleeping on her works in progress.
